Mommy wants me to post this special story and told me she will explain it to me someday. It is dedicated to all who appreciate its meaning:
Planning a trip to Australia? You've heard it's a wonderful place. You've read many guidebooks and feel certain you're ready to go. Everyone you know has traveled there by plane. They say it can be a turbulent flight with occasional rough landings, but you look forward to being pampered on the trip. So you go the the airport and ask the ticket agent for a ticket to Australia. All around you, excited people are boarding planes for Australia. It seems there is no seat for you, you'll have to wait for the next flight. Impatient, but anticipating a wonderful trip, you wait, and wait, and wait. Flights to Australia come and go. People say silly things like, "Relax, You'll get on a flight soon. Other people actually get on a plane and then cancel their trip, to which you cry, "It's not fair!" After a long time the ticket agent tells you, "I'm sorry, we're not going to be able to get you on a plane to Australia. Perhaps you should think about going by boat." "By boat!", you say, "Going by boat will take a very long time and costs a great deal of money. I really had my heart set on going by plane." So you go home and think about not going to Australia at all. You wonder if Australia will be as beautiful if you approach it by sea rather than by air. But you have long dreamed of this wonderful place, and finally you decide to travel by boat. It is a long trip, many months over many rough seas. No one pampers you. You wonder if you will ever see Australia. Meanwhile, your friends have flown back and forth to Australia two or three times, marveling about each trip. Then one glorious day, the boat docks in Australia. It is more exquisite than you ever imagined and the beauty is magnified by your long days at sea. You have made many wonderful friends during the voyage, and you find yourself comparing stories with others who also traveled by sea rather than by air. People continue to fly to Australia as often as they like, but you are able to travel only once, perhaps twice. Still, you know God blessed you with a special appreciation of Australia, and the beauty is not in the way you get there but in the place itself. If you are still on the long voyage, don't despair, you will get to Australia eventually, even if you have to transfer to a submarine.

Backyard Playmates!
Here is a picture that Mommy took of one of the duckies that always hangs out near our backyard. There are usually ducks and geese down in the pond that's close to our house, but I'm not overly interested in them yet. Maybe once the pathway is finally connected I 'll be a little more enthusiastic about them.

The Trouble with Soothers!!
The trouble I have with soothers is how the heck do they go in the mouth?!! There are so many different possibilities! At one point Mommy told me I had it in my mouth correctly but then it kept on popping out of my mouth! When I tried to actually suck on it, it went flying! I don't think I will ever figure out the mystery of the soother! Those darn soothers and caramilk bars...

First Solids!
Here are some pictures of me when Mommy fed me my first bowl of rice cereal. The first picture is the look on my face after she gave me my first spoonful. I rather like it! I am always excited when it is supper time now! In another few weeks Mommy says she will give me some in the morning too, yippee, I can't wait!

Kiss Attack!
Here is a video of Mommy giving me a kissy attack. It always makes me laugh! We went to visit Jeff, Lynn & Aiden last night. We all had fun and ate some Mino's (I'll get mine later, lol!) Thanks for inviting us! Yippee, today is a holiday, I like holidays, but I missed Tammy from 10 to 11! I hope everyone enjoyed sleeping in!

My Old Man Face!
Mommy & Daddy love it when I make this face. It makes them laugh. They say I look like a little old man. I usually spit right after I make this face too, lol! We went to Grandma & Grandpa's house last night for a little visit. I had a good time but I was a little grumpy. Mommy says it's because I don't like to take a nap in the afternoon, blah... sleep is for the weak!

In the first video I am playing peek-a-boo with Mommy. The second video is actually Mommy's first attempt to record me playing peek-a-boo but I had something else in store for her, lol!

Don't take that Mommy!
This is the dirty look I gave Momy for trying to take away the cushion I was chewing on. Mommy thought it was so funny that she had to try and get me to do it again on camera and it worked. I guess looking at it I can see how she thinks it is funny but I didn't at the time and I yelled at her when she took it, lol!

Fresh From The Bath
Mommy really needs to get me a new seat to go in the tub! I am really getting too big for my old one! I love to kick my feet all over and get Mommy soaking wet. When she washes my back I love to splash my feet in the water and it usually goes all over the place too, lol! I hope everyone had a good weekend, we did!

Ba Ba Ba In Action!
While Mommy was getting ready in the morning I started chatting to her and she was able to get me on video. When I first noticed she was recording me I was a bit shy but I came around and started talking to her again. Mommy says it is good practice but I just do it for fun, lol!

Ba Ba Ba!
Here I am with Lambie! You can't really see her but she is very soft and cuddly. Mommy uses her sometimes to get me to smile when she is taking my picture. I think it is funny when Mommy rubs her soft fuzz on my face. My newest thing I like to do is to say ba ba ba! I am really trying to pronounce new sounds! Mommy laughs when I move my lips in such an exagerated way.
