Hi!

Just a little post to say hello.  We haven’t been up to too much lately.  Mommy is busy getting the house cleaned and organized before little brother gets here and I have been busy playing with all of my toys.  The weather is supposed to be really nice starting on Thursday so we are going to be getting outside again soon.  I can’t wait to go back to the park and go for some more walks.  The winters seem so long here!

Pioneer Woman Actions!

Mommy has been waiting forever for these actions to become compatible with Elements!  Today it finally happened and here are a few different edits of the same picture.  Her favorite is the Seventies and then the B&W.  There are so many more actions to explore but so little time lol.  Hopefully we can get out to do some more shots soon so she will have some more pictures to experiment on.  I think the weather is supposed to get better next week so I am looking forward to some more walks and trips to the park.

What we’ve been up to

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  We have been busy trying to get things organized for Mommy.  We put in new storage drawers for all of my toys upstairs and a new office area so things can be organized before baby brothers arrival.  I will be back tonight to try and catch up with everyone!  Here are some before and after shots.

Green Bath

Sorry, just one picture again tonight, Mommy is running low on energy these days.  We went for a walk tonight and that used up most of her energy. 

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Today we had some fun with green.  First I played with all the fun stuff we picked up from the dollar store and then later I had a green bath!  It was fun to splash around in the tub with green water.  We were going to go to the point for a walk today but it was pretty windy again today so we went to the local park instead and I had a blast going down the slide most of the time we were there.  I have tons of photos to share but for now I will just post this one.

Another Belly Shot

Here is another belly picture.  It has been really rainy and dreary here for the last few days so we haven’t got the pictures of the nursery yet but I will post them as soon as it is sunny out again, hopefully tomorrow. 

A Visit & A Walk At The Point

This morning we went to see Lynn and Reese and I played with lots of toys.  I love playing with new toys and visiting people.  I really enjoyed lying on the floor in front of Reese and getting him to smile at me.  Mommy hopes I will appreciate little brother that much too.  Thanks for the visit!

It wasn’t windy today so Mommy decided we should take a walk at the point this afternoon.  The weather is just so nice it is a shame to waste it sitting inside.  It was still pretty muddy on most of the trails but we were able to take the main one without too much of a mess.  It was great to see all of the work that they are doing already to get the trails ready for us this year.  They have altered a part of the waterfront trail that gets half washed away during the summertime and hopefully that will take care of the water snakes that always seem to slither out from that part of the trail too.  I don’t pay much attention to them but they make Mommy stop in her tracks pretty quickly.  She doesn’t act scared and just points out the snake to me but she always lets them go by first LOL!  They have also put up some new benches for the season and they all have little memorials on them.  Today we saw that someone had attached a rose to one of them and it was a little sad but also very touching and beautiful so we made sure to get a few pictures of that too.  Here are some shots from today.

 

Bring on the Spring!

Just a few shots from Sunday when we went out to play.  It has been really great as far a weather wise for a while and I really am enjoying the spring like weather!  I can’t wait for it to warm up a bit more so we can go outside all the time again.  We are getting a fence in our backyard this spring and Daddy tells me he is getting me a play structure too.  Mommy can’t wait for the fence because that way she won’t have to chase me out of the neighbour’s yards lol!  So much to look forward to this spring!

To answer some questions

Here is a picture of Mommy’s belly at 30 weeks and a few days.  We do have many more pictures but she is so fussy that she keeps on retaking shots and is just too lazy to edit them lol!  Mommy hopes to have some more pictures to post within the next week or so since it won’t be much longer now.

Okay, now to answer some questions…

The pregnancy is going very well but she does feel waaay bigger this time around and perhaps that’s a reason why there has not been many photos.  When I was in her belly she posted a weekly picture but not this time around.  Oh well, baby brother will get to have some more artsy belly shots than I did… give and take I guess?

Baby brother’s exact  due date is April 29th, 2010  (we know this because he is an IVF baby and it’s an exact science so to speak) but he is measuring to have a due date of April 20th, 2010.  Time will tell!  Currently Mommy is 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  There is a pregnancy ticker on the sidebar of my blog counting down the days.

Mommy and Daddy are fighting over baby brother’s name at the moment.  Mommy wants Alexander (it is Daddy’s middle name and is also the name of both Mommy and Daddy’s Grandpa’s).  Daddy wants Jackson or Owen.  Daddy mostly wants Jackson but Mommy is really not sure about that one.  They had both actually decided on Jackson until it was pointed out that Daddy’s name is Michael!  So the names are down to Owen, Alexander and Jackson.  What do you think?  Is Jackson too funny if Daddy’s name is Michael LOL!!  Which one!?

The nursery is finished it just needs a few paint touch ups and Mommy will post some pictures of it this week. 

Do you have to take a picture of everything?

I’m giving Mommy the “Put the camera away lady!” look.  Sometimes I just want to go about my daily business without the camera! These came in the mail a few days ago and Mommy was very excited to get them.  Pretty soon little brother can be her camera victim and then maybe I can get a little privacy lol!  Mommy told me that wouldn’t happen though.  A girl can dream…
