So Sad…

That we only posted twice in October!  It’s been busy with the new school schedule and Mommy joined the gym so some things have been put aside.  We love fall and so far it has been so nice outside, today was our first cold day but it is supposed to warm up next week.  We have made a few trips to Lemoine’s but half the pictures are not even uploaded to the computer yet.  Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful season!

Finally!

We finally made it out for a walk yesterday.  Mason and I kept Mommy on the run because I would take off one way and Mason would go the other way.  I really had a lot of fun rolling around on the grass and looking up at the sky, the only problem with doing that is Mason jumping on me.  Whenever I lay down he jumps on me and cuddles me, I always laugh and say to mommy “He likes me!”  I will post some pics of that later.

Backyard Picnic

So far behind…again!  We’ll try to post a “September so far” catch up soon.  It has been a busy few weeks and we have been having lots of fun.  I started JK and that has been really great too.  I really like my teacher and can’t wait to actually start a full week, the staggered start is interesting and probably really good to get us used to the new routine.  So far I have only went for one full day but there were only 5 kids in class.  We did go for 1 hour and meet all of the parents and kids though.  Fall has really snuck up on us, can’t wait to get out for a walk and see if the leaves are changing!

Shadow Worm!

We found an inch worm outside.  I really liked it when he crawled/inched his way around on my hand and mommy loved the shadows he was creating LOL!

…what’s left of summer.  Sorry for the lack of posts lately but we are trying to get in as much outside time as possible before it leaves.  Hope everyone else is doing the same!

Peep Toe

This is what Mommy saw when she was coming upstairs from the basement… Mason toes!  Poor Mason always feels left out if he is not taken everywhere and has no problem letting you know he feels that way either.  What the picture doesn’t show is his little hands banging on the door LOL!

Pictures From the Point

It was such a nice day yesterday (well, not raining anyways) so we decided to head out for a walk.  Mason loved walking and stopped every 10 to 20 feet to run his hands on the ground.  When we got to the water the wind had picked up so much that I asked mommy if we could go home!!  So we only stayed for about 45 minutes but we had a blast while it lasted.

Were The Wild Things Are

We really need to get out for a walk at the Point!  Hopefully the weather clears up soon and we can go.  It seems so long since we were last there.  Mason would be thrilled to be outside and free LOL!

So Exciting

We are getting pretty excited around here.  Last week we got our sod and trees put in.  The week before that the sidewalks were poured.  Now we are working on our fence.  It has been a long summer and spring with the neighbourhood being so dirty but it seems like we might get to play in our yard for the last bit of summer and the entire fall!  Mason just about loses his mind when you go outside without him, he stands at the door and cries forever.  He is most certainly an outdoor boy and he loves to run around and be free.

A Fun Day

Today I went to Aiden’s birthday party!  We went to a conservation area and went on a nature walk.  Mason and I both really loved it.  Unfortunately mommy forgot her camera at home so I thought I would post a picture that could have been taken while we were on our walk LOL!  Thanks so much for inviting us, it was a great day.

A Little Off

LOL!  Mason missed the mark here a little bit.  Noses are not supposed to be included in the kiss. We went out to dinner with Nat, Liam and the girls tonight.  I even got to sit at my own table with the bigger girls!!  I did pretty good but could have stayed sitting on my bottom a little more, but over all I did great.  After supper we went back to our house to have some timbits… yum.  Mason and I had a great time running around and playing with the girls.  Thanks for coming over.

Mason loves to get pushed around in his truck and he also loves to push it around too.  Yesterday he tried to push himself around by pushing the wheel like a wheelchair.  Silly Manski!

Why Hello Little Lady!!

It has been years since Mommy has seen an actual red ladybug!  The only ladybugs I have ever seen are the orange ones so I liked seeing this picture (I was in bed when mommy took this picture).  Hopefully I will see a red one in real life soon.

The Many Faces Of Me

I found this hat in Mason’s dresser (when I was making a huge mess) and instantly loved it.  I came downstairs with it on and said “Daddy look at me!”  Of course Mommy ran and got her camera so here are a few shots.

Our Caterpillar Became a Butterfly!!

We had three caterpillars make a cocoon on our front porch.  We missed the first one but luckily we were able to see this one come out this morning.  I was very, very excited to see him!!  Hopefully we will get to see the last one before it flies away.  They like to come out early in the morning and they only stay for a while to stretch their wings so to speak LOL!  Here are some more pictures of our new baby butterfly, which is a Black Swallowtail by the way.
