I Heart Faces – Before & After

smallbutton

This is a “just for fun” week at I Heart Faces.  We are supposed to show a picture that we edited when we first started editing pictures and one that we just edited this month.  If you want to see how every one else’s pictures have changed go to I Heart Faces.

This is the very first picture I edited.  I was obsessed with making the skin look so smooth and silky.  I also just had to learn how to make the eyes pop!  It took me 3 hours to edit this picture and I just loved it LOL!  Now I think it looks too over done and I rarely ever touch her skin.  What was I thinking?  I only wish I had her perfect new baby skin, why did I think it needed editing?  I think it was just a new technique I thought I had to do.

Here is an edit I did on Saturday.  I have learned to not touch the skin LOL but I still love that glassy eye look.  I also discovered that playing with levels can be a great help!  It took me 15 minutes to edit this picture and 4 more.  Psst… actions are so much faster, thanks I heart faces for that info LOL!

So adorable! I agree with you that babies skin shouldn't be touched up... at least not completely. I used to do it all the time too because I thought that is something that you had to do.

But even with her skin editing the photo itself is fantastic and you perfected those eyes!

Amazing. The colors in the second are so vibrant...and the lighting is beautiful. Still working out my photo editing skills but it's been fun playing around and yes, I agree, love those actions. Thank you I Heart Faces and Coffee Shop. :-)
