Not The Best Weekend For Me

Friday was good, I was happy go lucky and feeling great.  Before Mommy put me to bed she told Daddy that I sounded like I might be coming down with something because my voice was changing a bit. 

Here I am Friday afternoon being silly and making faces.At 4:30 in the morning on Saturday Mommy woke up to me coughing and somewhat crying but I couldn’t even manage to cry!  I sounded like a seal barking and was having troubles breathing so we went to the ER right away because last year I sounded the exact same way and I had croup.  Well as it turns out I have it again this year.  I went from being fine to sounding awful in six and a half hours!  I was given an oral dose of steroids for the swelling in my through and sent home.  I sounded awful but I looked great and was acting happy (I was a big hit at the ER) on Saturday and enjoyed an evening with Uncle Dave and Aunt Amy and their Wii! 

This morning the cold has come in full force and I have been pretty mellow most of the day.  Despite my appearance in the following pictures I have managed to stay fairly happy and even had fun playing with Grandpa and Grandma for a while. 

Here’s how I looked today.

By this evening I was pretty pooped and didn’t have must energy left so I spent  most of the night on the couch with Mommy and Daddy just relaxing and snuggling.

So needless to say there will not be an I Heart Faces entry again this week.  We are bummed but I was definitely not feeling up to doing any family shots this weekend.
