Here are just a few of the pictures we took. Mommy has been having fun playing around with Elements and making templates! I really wish we could have seen more but the weather just wouldn’t allow it. We didn’t get to see a fraction of the tulips that were out. In the park that we were in there was over 300,000 tulips and we didn’t even see most of those! Fingers crossed for better weather next year!
A photo journal of Mason and I because any day with us is a day worth remembering!

Ottawa Tulip Festival!
We went to the tulip festival this weekend! Unfortunately it was raining and a little cool but we went anyways. It was actually really pretty to see all the water droplets all over the flowers, it made them seem like they were glowing a little! Mommy & I can’t wait to go next year, and hopefully we can go on a sunny day LOL!! Aunt Amy came with us and we all met Aunt Shannon and the kids in Ottawa. Only the adults seemed to mind the rain, I didn’t mind at all, I was kept dry LOL!! I have tons of pictures of the flowers and will post some more later. Mommy is trying out some new things with elements again… I hope she doesn’t take too long. There was so many tulips and they were all so beautiful! They had spots were you could go in amongst them and take your picture. Thankfully we had Aunt Amy to take some pictures of Mommy and I together, it seems to be a rare picture with both of us in it.

This is another one of Taylor’s funny looks. Every now and then she would stare off in the distance with her eyebrow raised. I always ask her if she is stuck in a moment and she would smile but still keep staring at what she was looking at!

I Heart Faces

This weeks theme is Laughter. If you want to participate or just see all the beautiful pictures go to I Heart Faces.
We just bought this bubble blower for Taylor. She was creeping closer and closer to the machine so that the bubbles would blow in her face. Everytime one popped on her face she would let out a little squeel.

I took this picture just over 2 years ago. This is my aunt and cousin, they were being bad girls and making fun of someone. I just couldn’t resist snapping a shot of their naughty laughter!
P.S. If I die, it was murder. They’ll probably kill me for posting this on my blog LOL!

Things I Love Thursday
I love playing in the park! Here are a few montages of me playing in the park. There was a lot of kids at the park that day! I kept on looking over at them and I was yelling and shaking my swing trying to get their attention. A few of them came over and said “hi” to me. That was so much fun, I love other kids!
We are going to have lunch with Tammy today, I can’t wait to see her. Mommy says we are going somewhere fun this Saturday. We’ll see, my idea of fun and her idea may vary LOL!! I promise to post some pictures.
Show everyone what you love! Go to Diaper Diaries!

My new toy!
When I woke up from my nap on Sunday Daddy carried me outside and showed me what he bought me. A crabby sandbox! YEAH!! I love it. I had so much fun playing in the sand. We filled up things and then dumped them out, we also raked the sand. Just filling up my hands with sand and letting it spill out was so exciting too. A very fun toy!
Well I am a walking fool! I am pretty much exclusively walking now! When I want to get somewhere really fast though I still drop to the floor for a quick arrival LOL. I have been doing laps around the kitchen for 2 days and I don’t plan on stopping, I am getting faster and faster.
The park down the street finally put in their swings so we made a stop there last night on our way home. Since it was unexpected Mommy didn’t have her camera but I’m sure there will be some pictures to come.

Guess who got their pettiskirt?!
OOOHHH!! I love my new pettiskirt! When Mommy opened up the gift box my eyes got wide! I was in love, or maybe that was Mommy?! LOL. No really, I immediately started pointing and said ESTAT!!?? Mommy slipped me in while Daddy held it open and once it was on. I was a grinning fool! I did a couple of laps around the island and then had a rest by the patio doors. The next thing I knew it was gone. Mommy slipped it off of me and I haven’t seen it since, she says we will probably do some pictures with it later but it is supposed to be for my birthday… my BIRTHDAY? That is so far away, I bet I’ll see it a few more times before that!
I Heart Faces
This weeks theme is hats. If you want to participate or just see all the beautiful pictures go to I Heart Faces.
I remember this day well. It was Taylor’s first time sitting on the grass, she really didn’t know what to make of it. She was pursing her lips and kept on making ooohh ooohh noises. After that day this face was often seen, for some reason she just liked making this face and it lasted for a few months before she started with a new face. Such a silly girl!

Mr. Christie you make good cookies!
Daddy was at it again. He gave me a fudgee-o, it was sooo good! He took the top off of the cookie and all I really did was lick the icing but it was great icing! I kept on trying to take off with the cookie but Mommy was having none of that, she said “no way Taylor Lainey, you’re not getting chocolate icing all over the place!” LOL!! It was worth a shot anyways. Who knew so much enjoyment could come from one small cookie?

Happy Trails
Mommy & I went for a long walk this morning. We were walking for an hour and a half! We went from one exit to another and around a big trail. I saw so many new things today, it was very exciting.
We saw a frog! A blue jay!
A squirrel! A lamb!
The sun (ahh! bright light)! Some flowers!
And a pack of toddlers!
Okay, so maybe the toddlers weren’t wild, but they sounded like they were LOL!! I think it was a field trip with all their parents because one lady was leading everyone and they had to try and find things and put it into their brown bags. Mommy thought that was a great idea and made a mental note for when I am a bit older. I have never seen a frog, blue jay, or a lamb before (only in books) so it was really fun to see new things this morning. I had my pointer finger out many times today!

Popsicle… YUMMMMMY!
Mommy went to Tim Horton’s to get coffee and when she got back she found this! Daddy gave me a popsicle. I had so much fun trying to eat it. I would stick the end in my mouth and then take it out immediately. It was so cold but it was so fun. After a while the novelty wore off and that was when I discovered that it was just as much fun to feed it to Daddy. Mommy ended up throwing it out after all the fun was over but not before Daddy and I were covered with orange popsicle LOL!!
